Nijimi icon proposals
In the language of the Neshi and Furlong icons: bands of gold, orange, red and blue with paper between them, on the same warm ground. Each adds what Nijimi is about, paint that bleeds and mixes. Below each, the icon at home screen size beside its family, and the current icon for comparison.
Horizon lines, Neshi weight
The chosen icon. The two swells in lines at the weight of Neshi's, with narrow paper between them, so the warm lines read as one wavy body and the sky as four blue strokes, darkest at the top.

Horizon lines, fine
The two swells in fine lines, close together, about the weight of the finest lines in Furlong. Many lines; at home screen size they read almost as a texture.

Horizon lines, medium
Medium lines with paper between them about as wide as the lines, the rhythm of Neshi's bundles. Still clearly lines at home screen size.

Horizon, one swell
One long wave runs through every band, sky and land together: nearly flat at the top of the sky, deepest at the bottom of the land. All edges crisp; the blue fades only inside each band.

Horizon, two swells
The direction, before it was drawn in lines. Two gentle waves run through every band, each following the one above it, only a little deeper. Every band is one flat colour: three blues in the sky, darkest at the top and lightest near the land, and a wide stretch of paper between the sky and the warm bands.

Horizon, rising
A calm, almost straight sky over land whose waves grow quickly toward the bottom edge, as if the ground rolls up toward you. The most depth of the three.

Glaze
Two bundles of colour cross, and where they overlap they mix, gold over blue turning green. This is the app in one picture: colours mixing, not sitting on top of each other.

Wet into dry
The Furlong ribbon, painted: crisp where the paper is dry, softening and running together where it is still wet. Closest to the family, and shows the two edges the app is built on.

Bloom
A ribbon of colour lands on wet paper and spreads into rings. It says "watercolour" at a glance, and the rings are the family bands bent into circles, soft where the water carried them.

Brushstroke
A single brush mark that lands full and lifts to a point, drawn in the family bands. It keeps the brush of the current kanji icon and brings it into the same world as Neshi and Furlong.
