Nijimi does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything the app makes is stored only on your device.

This is not a promise about how we behave. The app contains no networking code at all, so there is no mechanism by which anything could be sent anywhere.

What we collect

Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no servers, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, we cannot see how you use the app, and we have no way of finding out.

Your paintings

Sheets you paint are kept as image files inside the app's own storage on your device. They are not uploaded, backed up to us, or seen by anyone else. They are removed when you delete them in the app, or when you delete the app.

Photos

If you choose to save a sheet to your photo library, iOS asks your permission first and the image is written by the system to your own library. The app requests that permission only at the moment you tap Save, and never reads your existing photos.

Motion

The app reads the phone's accelerometer while you paint, so that tilting the sheet makes the water run. Those readings are used in the simulation as they arrive and are never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this ever changes, the policy will change with it before the app does, and the date at the top will say when.
